Arg Equine:
Equine Therapies and Training
I'm Lara Muñoz, the founder of ARG Equine, Equine Therapies and Training, and I’m proud to offer expert equine soft tissue therapy and rehabilitation. With years of experience working with horses across Argentina, Spain, and now the UK, my goal is simple: to help horses feel better, move better, and perform at their best.
At ARG Equine, horses are at the heart of everything we do. My passion for equine wellbeing drives me to provide the highest level of care through specialized treatments tailored to each horse’s unique needs. I am a Certified Equine Soft Tissue and Rehabilitation Therapist, Certified in Equine Lameness and Rehabilitation, and I have had the privilege of learning from some of the best in the field. I was lucky enough to be taught by the renowned Sue Dyson, a world leader in equine lameness, and have completed CPD courses with Rikke Schultz, an expert known for her holistic and hands-on approach to equine care.
Rikke Schultz is especially recognized for her research on myofascial kinetic lines, which explores how the entire body works together through interconnected chains or lines of tissue. This research is fundamental to my work and the approach I take with every horse. Understanding these kinetic lines allows me to treat the body as a whole—addressing imbalances in one area that might be affecting another, and ultimately improving movement, strength, and overall well-being.
What We Do at ARG Equine
At ARG Equine, I use a range of advanced techniques, including:
-
Equine Sports Massage
-
Equine Kinesiology Taping
-
Myofascial Release using the FascialEdge Tool
-
Equine mobilisation, positional releases, and METs
These methods are designed to relieve discomfort, improve mobility, and support recovery. What sets ARG Equine apart is my ability to spot even the smallest details and patterns, which allows me to uncover the root causes of issues—often addressing subtle challenges that others might overlook.
A Business Built on Trust
I believe that honesty, transparency, and reliability are the foundation of every relationship. I approach each horse with the same care and dedication I would give my own, creating personalized plans that prioritize their health and happiness. Whether it's enhancing comfort, supporting recovery, or boosting performance, my goal is always to provide the highest standards of care with respect and compassion.
Making a Difference
I’m committed to helping horses thrive, using a thoughtful and collaborative approach with horse owners to achieve real, measurable results. Whether you’re looking to improve your horse’s performance or simply want to ensure they feel their best every day, ARG Equine is here to help.

Meet Lara Munoz
Hello, and welcome! My name is Lara Muñoz, and I am the heart behind this business. Horses have been a lifelong passion of mine, shaping not only my career but also who I am as a person. My commitment to delivering quality service and outstanding results stems from years of dedication to understanding and supporting these incredible animals.
My Journey
My love for horses began at an early age and quickly grew into a lifelong passion. For many years, I competed in show jumping, where I deepened my appreciation for the unique bond between horse and rider. Motivated to help horses thrive, I initially pursued a veterinary degree. Life, however, took me on a different path when I moved to the UK, where I was able to specialize in the musculoskeletal system of horses—a pivotal moment that transformed my career.
I became certified as an Equine Sports Massage and Rehabilitation Therapist (ESMT) and have since expanded my expertise through advanced certifications, including kinesiology taping, Muscle Energy Techniques (METs), fascia edge tools, and more. Currently, I’m pursuing a certification in lameness and rehabilitation, ensuring I stay at the forefront of equine care and performance.
My Experience and Approach
Over the years, I’ve gained extensive hands-on experience working with horses. I’ve re-trained off-the-track thoroughbreds, broken in young horses, and even ridden eventing horses that have competed at the Olympics. Working alongside renowned equestrian professionals has shaped my practice and taught me to uphold the highest standards in care and professionalism.
I’ve also had the honor of working for some truly distinguished clients, including a lady, a baroness, and a countess in Yorkshire, as well as for a prince in the South of England. These experiences have been incredibly rewarding and have further reinforced the trust that people place in my work.
What makes my work truly special is the instant connection I form with horses. Many have remarked that it’s as if I have a sixth sense, allowing me to understand what they’re feeling and what they need. This deep connection enables me to provide thoughtful, tailored care that resonates with the horses and their owners. It’s incredibly rewarding to see how much better horses feel and move after spending time with me, and their owners can see the difference too.
why choose me?
I understand the trust it takes to place your horse’s care in someone else’s hands. Known for my honesty and reliability, I approach every horse as if it were my own, ensuring they receive the care, attention, and respect they deserve. Whether it’s enhancing performance, aiding rehabilitation, or supporting routine wellness, my work is guided by a deep love for what I do and the animals I serve.
